There is no need to climb a mountain unless that is your goal. The answers you seek are not found on the top of a mountain. The answers are within you all along. It is possible to ‘find enlightenment’ wherever you are but that is because you brought it with you. Going to the mountains, lake, or ocean only changes the view.
We are taught to believe that what we seek is somewhere outside of ourselves; on a mountain top, in a church, in someone else or just beyond our reach. We are not told that we have guidance from within our own hearts. Our minds provide survival techniques that may or may not be to our benefit. Our hearts know the truth for us.
If we continue to seek what we think we need is ‘somewhere out there’, our inner wisdom cannot come forth. If we go from spiritual guru to spiritual guru, we are only hearing what they know and have experienced. Yes, they can provide guidance but only from their perspective and personal experience. It may not have the same effect on you as on them.
At some point in time, you will have to begin to trust your own wisdom, your own experiences on your own path. If you allow it, the information from your higher self will guide you to what you seek.
Today is the beginning of a new month, of new adventures, of new cycles emerging from the ending of the old ones. Take advantage of the surging energy. Make some decisions. Set some intentions. Go your own way. Find your own path. And never be afraid to change your mind if you feel something isn’t right for you.
Spread your wings and take flight. Follow your dreams. There is not time like the present to make needed changes. Do not be afraid to trust your heart’s callings. They are leading you forward to bigger and better times.
