ODE TO A COMMANDER
Did you hear the call, the call from Spirit,
Calling you to return to Creator,
To surrender to the Divine command,
And fulfill your purpose within the Light?
To rescue the children and see them safe,
With God most high in the heavenly realm,
A warrior true, you withstand the Dark
While carrying souls, a burdensome toil.
You signed up for this by raising your hand,
And standing quite tall, you took command of
All of God’s armies and leading them forth,
To defeat the Dark forces where they hide.
Calling them out with the great voice of truth,
The fear it created caused them to flee.
They were all hunted down, every last one.
Fulfilling your mission, brave sun of God.
Again and again, you battle fierce foes
Snatching them up like the turds that they are,
You bag everyone, transporting them all.
At great cost to you, yet you never fail.
But even heroes pay the awful price.
You shielded your heart against the great pain,
You could not bear the children’s fear-filled eyes,
And suffered greatly in body, heart and soul.
The successful mission came at great cost,
Fractured and broken, great healing called forth.
Archangel Raphael came to your need,
Mending, repairing and healing your soul.
You say you are changed, for you saw too much.
The test so severe, you almost gave up.
But you suffered through and are in the clear,
Rest easy, Commander, in sacred lands.
