WHAT DO YOU DREAM?
I’ve been watching the women athletes in the Olympics, each one pursuing the dream in her heart, with so many people cheering her on.
I’ve been impressed by their courage, fearlessness, determination, joy, grace and unwavering belief in their dream. I can only imagine the journey each one has taken on the road to the Olympics.
We don’t need to have a huge dream like all these women. Our dreams, big or small, are worthy of following where they lead us. And there will be other women cheering us on, helping us to bring our dream in fruition.
Women are creative beings. Our dreams improve the lives of others as we innovate and create solutions for all. When we follow our dreams, space opens up for more women to follow their dreams.
Our ancestral line of women, all those who came before us, loving us into being, stand behind us, encouraging and helping us to embrace our dream, even though many of them were denied their dreams during their lives.
Dreams aren’t solely for the young. Years lived bring wisdom, freedom from outer influence and self-esteem from challenges overcome and lessons learned. Whatever your age, your dream wants to be lived and brought to life through you. It may seem like mere fantasy, but you have your dream because you are meant to bring life to it. Don’t let it remain in your heart, waiting for you to wake up and express it with all of your creative energy.
Your dream has worth. Your dream is needed.
