As we grow into adulthood, we often leave behind the activities that we enjoyed as a child. Life takes over and we get busy with our jobs, families and friends, and doing the adult things that society expects of us. There is less time for pure, belly-laughing, enjoyment each day.
Laughter and doing the fun things assist us in keeping our emotions balanced from day to day. Looking back in our lives offers clues as to what might make us feel like playing as an adult. It’s okay to revisit what it felt like to make a model airplane or have a tea party with friends. There are many games for adults that keep our minds sharp and excited to learn a new skill.
Plan a game night with friends. Play cards or board games. Let your inner child out to have some fun. Play just for the sheer fun of it.
