I AM feeling so blessed this morning. Spirit came through with information pertaining to an upcoming healing session for a friend who is experiencing personal growth through cancer. She is an amazing woman who has such a down-to- earth manner of dealing with this issue. I know that she has moments of depression and fear, yet she is an inspiration to me with her courage and grace.
My adventure into healing began over a year ago when another friend was needing surgery on her inner ear to remove a tumor that had been found there. She was very fearful of this surgery so another mutual friend who also has a gift for healing with her hands, talked to me about doing some healing sessions for her. I agreed with her suggestion.
Our friend was so distraught by the upcoming surgery that our main work was to alleviate her stress. Our first session included use of a singing bowl to clear the energies surrounding her. My friend did some hands-on work on her ear while I called in Archangel Michael to keep her safe and protected through the time before and during the surgery. I also called in Archangel Raphael for healing energy on her ear.
She was so open to this work and felt immense relief after our first session with her. We did several more sessions with her before her surgery. Her stress level reduced with each one. My guides came through with suggestions for her to keep her fear level at bay between our sessions. It was an amazing experience for the three of us and we all gained something from it.
The surgery went well but the recovery process was difficult. She endured the healing process and is now well with much of her hearing returned. Her acknowledgement of how much we helped her through the long process gave us the courage to help our other friend who has cancer.
We did a couple of zoom meetings working on the cancer as well as her emotional well-being. With the virus backing off in our area, I was guided to suggest an in-person get together. She agreed and we set a date and time to come to her home and perform a healing ceremony with her. We did the session in her backyard on a beautiful spring day.
Her backyard is small and intimate, and we were surrounded by many plants. I know that they provided their energy to our work. I had brought some crystals for all of us to use during the ceremony, rose quartz for my two assistants and a large piece of green malachite for our ill friend. I held a large, smoky elestial crystal. My singing bowl is tuned to the heart chakra. As I played it, I called in Archangel Michael for protection and Archangel Raphael for healing. Our combined energies as we sat there and prayed were extremely powerful.
When we were finished, I knew that we all had benefited from this healing session. I feel so blessed to do this type of spiritual work. I do not claim to have healing energy myself. I simply open myself up as a channel for the Divine to do the work as needed by the person who is ill.
I have noticed that our doctors work on the body but not the emotional body of the patient. Surgery of any kind is frightening. If a patient’s fears can be alleviated, I believe that they will go into surgery and come through on the other side in better condition than without the emotional work of prayer and faith.
Healing work is part of my service to the collective and I am honored and blessed each time I perform this service. I am also honored to have my healing friend who is called to do this work with me. She is a blessing each time we perform a healing session.
The Sisterhood of Healing continues to grow and expand each time we give to another person in need of spiritual assistance.
