A part of my service to the Collective is maintaining my connection with my heart center. Living in my heart and not my head is an on-going process of personal growth. My life experience has shown me the folly of only living in the mind where the ego works hard to control us. When a person is guided and controlled by their mind, logic prevails.
Why is this a bad thing? The mind is logical. Logic is similar to the ego mind, constantly trying to prove to us how correct it is in all manner of things. When all trust is placed in logic and science, emotional intelligence suffers. Science has told us for centuries that we are the only species that has feelings and emotions. This has allowed humans the perceived right to do whatever they choose in the name of science, much to the destruction of the natural world and many species of animals.
When a person has done the difficult work of removing much of the programming of society, they consciously move down into their heart and not spend as much time in their mind. Once the way to the heart has been unblocked with the removal of judgment, anger, fear, unforgiveness and lack of self-love, the person receives guidance from their heart. The person moves from doing to being. Their dominant emotions, empathy, compassion, joy, peace, self-love and self-worth, faith and trust provide them with a spiritual path to walk each day.
Living from the heart center requires a surrendering to the divine plan for the individual’s life. The meaning of surrender in this case is a relinquishing of the need to control everything. The original creator of our soul knows the plan and is far better able to align everything we need in ways we never could imagine. Our part is just to live each day from our heart, in joy following our passions, gifts and talents.
The talents and gifts we have been given are meant to be used, expressed and shared with the world. A great deal of joy is derived from following a passion and gaining mastery of it. Dance, music, art, creative expression of any kind needs to be communicated. The sharing of what we love to do is our gift to the world. With any gift or talent we enjoy is also the public who finds joy in what we do.
In a perfect, kinder world, all talents would be valued. There are many doctors who would rather be a baker and engineers who really just want to grow food. Success has nothing to do with money, prestige or power. It has to do with happiness, peace and love.
Step into your heart and you will discover the love you always looked for was there all along. Embrace it when you feel it and share it with everyone you meet. Love is the only means to creating heaven on earth and for the survival of every being on this planet including Gaia.
