OUR LADY OF THE DARK MYSTERIES
The Divine Mother shows herself to each of us in many ways. She is always with us, through times of light and times of dark. It is up to us to embrace her as we see her.
She is there in the darkness we go through with all the pain and suffering we experience. It is our choice to turn and hide from the pain, masking it with outer distractions and substances. There is another choice though, one that leads us back to the light and love She offers. She makes no judgement on which we choose. Our choice takes us farther from feeling her presence and love, or opens us up to greater peace, happiness and her never-ending love for us.
There cannot be light without darkness and there cannot be darkness without light. We need the dark to show us compassion, patience, hope, faith and love. We need the light to use these qualities in helping those still walking in the darkness. The light is carried in our hearts and acts as a beacon, a safe harbor for those surrounded by the dark.
We go through the dark in order to embrace and embody the Divine Mother. We then act as her emissaries, carrying on her holy work. We each do this in our own manner, expressing her divine love through our lives. Her power is so immense, it takes all of us to return it to Gaia.
